CJ Miller

Charles Miller, III

President

CJ has over 26 years’ experience and knowledge within the area of site development and construction, all 26 of which have been with C.J. Miller LLC. As President of the company, he is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the business. CJ has extensive field experience and construction as well as safety training. He learned the business working in all departments under the guidance of his father, Buck, before assuming the role of President. CJ encourages promoting within and prides himself on the team members that have started as laborers or other entry level positions and worked their way up through the ranks.

In 1995, Mr. Miller graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shippensburg University. CJ enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with family and supporting the community by volunteering at various events in his free time.

William Miller

Vice President

Since joining C.J. Miller LLC as a 14 year old laborer, Bill has held various positions of increasing responsibility. After gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in the construction industry and establishing a proven track record of success in his previous positions, Bill progressed into his current leadership role as Vice President. Bill is responsible for the management and growth of asphalt plant operations as well as acquisition and maintenance of C.J. Miller’s extensive fleet of construction equipment. As the second generation of Millers, Bill and his brother CJ are committed to carrying on the legacy of their father via civic engagement and supporting various charitable organizations. While not at work, Bill spends time with his two sons, works on his farm raising cattle, and is an avid hunter and fisherman.

David Weller

David Weller

Chief Operating Officer

Dave has over 27 years’ experience and knowledge within the area of site development and construction, 10 of which have been with C.J. Miller LLC. As COO for the company, he is responsible for the management of the estimating and project management departments as well as all other operational aspects of the company. Dave encourages open communication and supports staff development through exposure to all parts of the business.

In 1994, Mr. Weller graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from The Pennsylvania State University. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time at Chincoteague with his family and working on his family farm.

Josh Walker

Joshua Walker

Chief Financial Officer, CPA, CCIFP

Josh joined C.J. Miller LLC in 2019 as an Operations Controller and shortly thereafter transitioned to Chief Financial Officer. He has spent his entire career focused on the construction industry; providing audit and consulting services at two public accounting firms as well as working at another construction company. Josh is a graduate of Shippensburg University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). At C.J. Miller, Josh brings an operations focused mindset to the accounting and finance functions in order to provide high-value information for strategic decision making. When not analyzing Excel spreadsheets at C.J. Miller LLC, Josh spends time with his wife, three sons, and dog, Bailey. He also enjoys hunting, gardening, french press coffee, and Crossfit.

Dion Stanton

Dion Stanton

Director of Field Operations

Dion has over 24 years of experience with all 24 years being with C.J. Miller LLC. As Director of Field Operations, Dion is responsible for the direct management of 50 or more active projects in the “field” at any given time. Dion has extensive knowledge of site development with particular emphasis on aspects of, but not limited to, clearing, demolition, sediment control, storm water management, sewer, storm drain, water, excavating, curbs, and paving. Dion is an advocate of training the next generation of leaders at C.J. Miller LLC and embraces his role in the development of the team in the field. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and family time.

Senior HR Generalist

Beatrice joined the team in 2018 and has made tremendous progress in her career at C.J. Miller LLC. Beatrice holds her degree in Business Administration with a strong focus in Human Resources from University of Maryland Global Campus. Beatrice started in the payroll department and is now an integral part of the Human Resources Team. She brings her eagerness to learn and her enthusiasm with her each day and strives to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Outside of work, Beatrice enjoys spending time with her two children and watching them grow.

Trinity Miller

Human Resources Assistant

Trinity is our newest Human Resources team member. Trinity went through Francis Scott Key’s career connections program and explored different departments as she interned at C.J. Miller LLC.  As fate would have it, the company was making some internal team changes and it was the perfect time to come in as an HR Assistant. She represents the third generation of the Miller family and has quickly gained an understanding of many Human Resources responsibilities as she is learning about the family business. Outside of work Trinity enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as working on the family dairy farm. Trinity brings a fresh set of eyes to work with the team on making improvements to the Human Resources department every day.
