40 Years Ago – A Glimpse at Our CJM Fleet
In 1978, Jimmy Carter was the American President. Minimum wage was $2.65. The top song was “Night Fever,” by the Bee Gees. 1978 was also the same year this particular Mack Super-liner that CJ Miller recently purchased from the Midwest, was built. First introduced by Mack Trucks in 1977, the Super-liner is a heavy duty truck that remained in production until it was discontinued in 1989. CJM will showcase the Super-liner at area events. While adding this piece of history to our company, we thought we would take a look back at some of the vehicles we did have in operation 40 years ago.
